Throughout a decade of buying and selling contemporary art, Tyler has developed deep personal relationships with artists, publishers and galleries. He offers his clients access to artists' studios, first looks at new publications and invitations into galleries' back rooms.

 

In addition to a firm foundation in art history, Tyler studies the contemporary art world daily, tracking auction results and important upcoming exhibitions. His knowledge extends from the edgy to the traditional, from prints and works on paper to paintings, sculpture and large-scale installations. Most importantly, Tyler has a proven eye for artists on the rise. His comprehensive understanding of the art market allows him to help clients identify and acquire works with significant long-term investment opportunities.

 

Tyler has an astute sense of architecture and interior design, and knows how to select artwork that complements these elements in any space. By regularly visiting galleries and artists' studios, as well as local and international art fairs, he is able to streamline the process of identifying the perfect piece for your home or office.

 

Tyler served as a Board Member of LACMA's Prints and Drawings Council from 2010 - 2012, and was the Chairman of the 2016 Benefit Exhibition Committee for Inner-City Arts.
